C3 Crawley oversees and is relationally connected with six C3 Churches in Gulu, northern Uganda. Each church has it’s own leadership structure and is responsible for ministry to its local community. The C3 Gulu Churches are overseen locally by Geoffrey & Jennifer Ocan – a marvellous couple who are gifted by God for this task and possess an unending well of enthusiasm. C3 Crawley and Pastor Geoffrey are in contact every month and our church sends a team every year in March/April to assist with the C3 Eastern Africa regional conference in the capital city of Kampala and visit the local churches in Gulu.

Our goals are to provide leadership, relationship and encouragement to see the local leaders identified and trained to reach their communities and build dynamic, healthy C3 churches. C3 Crawley’s weekly prayer for our brothers and sisters in Gulu: “Economic growth and employment for every C3 Gulu Christian!”

C3 Crawley has been involved in C3Global’s Africa initiative since 2007. C3 Africa started as one single region and as of 2009, it has now broken into two regions (Eastern Africa & Southern Africa) to cope with the increased growth. Local conferences and Training seminars are coordinated annually with guest speakers attending from Africa, Australia, UK and the United States.

The vision of C3 Africa is to add a further three regions by the yeuganda-mapar 2020 – Central Africa, West Africa and Northern Africa.

It is important to note that C3Global does not operate as a mission organisation by providing funds. C3Global is a relational and visionary movement, to which members get the privilege of contributing resources! All joining churches, regardless of their economic situation, are encouraged to contribute a percentage of their income to support the administration of the movement. Whilst this stance appears financially unfair, it protects the movement from potential ‘gold-diggers’ and thwarts the Christian welfare mentality. One of our goals is to shift church leaders into faith and trust in God…their Provider.

As Jesus said in Luke 6:38, “Whatever measure you use in giving…it will be used to measure what is given back to you”.
